Golden Rules

Never mix tropical fish (24-28°C) with cold-water species like goldfish or koi (15-22°C). Temperature mismatch causes stress and disease.

Larger or active species need more space. Overcrowding leads to aggression, poor water quality, and stunted growth.

Tetras, rasboras, and corydoras are schooling fish — keep them in groups of 6+ to reduce stress and display natural behaviour.

Long-finned species like bettas and guppies are vulnerable to nipping. Avoid pairing with known fin-nippers or aggressive feeders.
